CoachHub are thrilled to announce that Sylvia Scherer has joined CoachHub’s Advisory Board – a team composed of accomplished HR and digital transformation experts offering innovative advice and dynamic perspectives in the HR and digital space. We caught up with Sylvial to learn more about her background and why she decided to join the CoachHub team.
Sylvia, can you share with our readers a little about your background and who you are?
As a Coach, I work with visionary leaders, pioneers and builders of the future, striving to move the world forward together. This includes individuals as well as organizations of different sizes from start-ups to corporates.
My own journey includes over 20 years of international leadership experience in areas such as transformation, strategy, and human development. Together with peer leaders, I also co-founded a movement for accelerating the culture and business transformation of the working world.
Throughout my professional and my personal life, values like realness, courage and clear communication are most important to me.
What is your area of expertise?
As a Coach, I focus on the personal development and inner transformation of individuals in leadership positions. This includes areas like reflection, emotional intelligence, personal values, inner strength and focused decision-making. These leaders and their behaviors will also then have a tremendous impact on their organization and its culture.
My own strengths in Coaching are: Deep listening, challenging questions, as well as opening up a non-judgemental space for non-conformist, audacious and sometimes fully crazy ideas.
Why are you a firm believer in coaching?
We need self-reflected, confident and emotionally intelligent people in leadership positions to tackle the current transformational times and the challenges we face in this world and in humanity. And we need leaders to make firm decisions to transform the way we work and act together.
Coaching is one of the most effective tools to encourage and enable leaders and visionaries to build a positive future for themselves, their organizations and the business world in general.
Why have you joined CoachHub’s advisory board?
Coaching people and especially coaching leaders can and will transform the working world. We need more individuals and more organizations to use coaching for individual development and for corporate transformation.
I fully support Matti’s and Yannis’ vision of democratizing coaching, of building a good company and of driving the transformation of organizations as a whole. The two guys have this solid vision which is greater than themselves, and it feels real and courageous.
What are you excited about for your partnership?
I am more than excited to join Matti, Yannis and the whole CoachHub team in bringing Coaching to as many individuals and organizations as possible. My personal aim is to support CoachHub in the best possible way with my experience as a coach, as a corporate leader and as a human being wanting to move the world forward.
